The Stay Match Promise is our way of supporting eligible paid members who genuinely use The Guardians Tribe but do not secure a confirmed stay within their first 12 months.

If an eligible active paid member does not secure a confirmed stay within 12 months of joining, we will renew their membership free for one additional year, subject to the terms of the promise.

This is not about making unrealistic guarantees.

It is not about promising that every member will find the perfect stay instantly, or that every opportunity will be suitable for every person. Home and pet care is personal. Dates, locations, animals, experience, expectations and availability all matter.

But we do believe members should feel supported when they join.

The Stay Match Promise is about confidence, fairness and trust.

The Guardians Tribe is growing steadily, but we are still a young platform. That means some locations will naturally become active faster than others. Some areas may have more Guardians first. Some may have more homeowners first. Some members may be looking for very specific dates, types of animals, locations or arrangements.

That is normal in a live, growing community.

The Stay Match Promise recognises that reality without pretending everything happens overnight.

It gives genuine members more time, more reassurance and more space for the right connection to appear.

To qualify, members need to take part properly. This means having a complete and active listing, using the platform in a genuine way, following the community standards, keeping details up to date, and making a reasonable effort to connect.

The promise is not designed for someone who joins, leaves their listing empty, never logs in, never responds, and then expects a free year.

That would not be fair to the community.

The Stay Match Promise is for members who are genuinely showing up and using the platform as intended.

For homeowners, this means creating a clear and honest listing with details about the home, animals, care needs and travel plans. Photos, routines, expectations and useful information all help Guardians understand whether the opportunity feels right for them.

For Guardians, this means creating a thoughtful listing that explains who they are, where they are available, what experience they have, and what kind of homes and animals they feel confident caring for.

Strong listings matter.

Clear communication matters.

Trust matters.

The stronger the listings, the stronger the connections.

That is one of the reasons we created this promise carefully. We want to encourage members to take their presence on the platform seriously, not just join and wait in the background.

The Guardians Tribe works best when people participate.

It simply means being visible, responsive, honest and open to the right match.

A good stay should never feel pressured. It should feel clear, respectful and aligned on both sides. Homeowners should feel confident about who is caring for their home and animals. Guardians should feel comfortable with the expectations, location, animals and arrangement.

That kind of connection can take time.

The Stay Match Promise gives members more time and more peace of mind.

If an eligible paid member has genuinely used the platform and has not secured a confirmed stay within their first year, the promise gives them another year to continue building connections without paying again for that renewal period.

That gives the platform more time to grow around them.

It gives their listing more time to be seen.

It gives the right homeowner or Guardian more time to find them.

For a growing platform, that feels important.

We would rather be honest about growth than pretend every member will be matched instantly. We would rather support early members than leave them feeling like they took a chance and were forgotten. We would rather build trust slowly and properly than make empty promises that sound good but do not mean much.

We would rather be honest and supportive than overpromise and disappear.
